The streets which were swarming before with life are calm that contrasts with the absolute chaos of the airport, from which the evacuations of those who want to flee the new Taliban diet continue.

Women go away at home, but most, when they go out, always wear the hijab, a veil discovering the face."People go out and go home as quickly as possible," notes the 20 -year -old girl.

She can no longer go to university, from where women, she said, banned while waiting for it to be possible to separate them from men."This is a stupid decision because we don't have enough (women teachers)," said this activist.

She also finds herself without work, the bank who used her not yet revealing women, as a precaution.Short of food, she finally resolved to go out with her mother on Monday, more than a week after the Taliban power.

On the walls of the capital, the posters of women were torn off, or brushed, except "those which were too high", she reports. Some beauty and hairstyle salons remain open.

"I would like (the Taliban) to use it themselves, they look like monsters," she slips with playfulness.

Music stopped in Kabul. But children still play in the streets and "it's not as bad as imagined" for the moment, she admits despite everything.

« Le business de la peur»»

The Taliban has not yet formed of government or established laws governing exactly what will be authorized or not.

"This is the business of fear. They have no army to control people. But fear controls everyone, ”observes a young Kabul banker.

Under the term of Taliban, very different people come together, he notes however."Some groups behave well with the population", but others do only at their heads, like those who eat in restaurants without paying.

In Khost, in the south-east of the country, the Islamists seem more conciliatory, perhaps because the region, more conservative than the capital, is acquired from them.

"The situation returned to normal.Traffic has slowed down, but many stores have reopened, girls and boys go to school as before, "says a humanitarian.

"But people are worried, because public services must be relaunched to support the needs of the population [...] many people have lost their jobs and are afraid for the economy," he said.

He went to a clothing store for women in his family, but no woman was visible.

The attitude of the Taliban is much more flexible than what people expected. They thought that the Taliban would be the same as before, but it is not the case "", he said, however.

He has gone to a wedding in recent days, and there have been singers and dancers."I danced with many friends," he smiles.

« Ils n’ont pas l’argent»»

In Kunduz, in the North, only women are allowed to play music or sing for weddings, according to a local entrepreneur. But there can be neither musicians nor singers, the sound must be pre -recorded.

At the market, the Taliban states certain rules using a speaker. Some are already known, because the province of Kunduz was under their thumb long before the city and then the country fell.

The city is devastated by weeks of combat. The buildings are destroyed, the stocks of street vendors have been stolen or ransacked.

"Some have started to rebuild their shops, but not the houses because people have fled and have not yet returned, or they do not have the money for that," notes the entrepreneur.

The city has partially emptied of its educated elites and young people, who "are afraid, because there will be no more international donors to finance development or education projects", he says.

Number of women teachers are gone, while they are more necessary than ever, men not being authorized to teach girls, who returned to school and high school.

He himself had to close his box of cosmetic products, because people, worried about the future, in particular in front of the price increase, only buy the basic foodstuffs: rice, potatoes, bread.

"People don't even eat fruit anymore. They think you have to save, because it will no longer be possible to make money in the future, he notes."" They don't even use soap or shampoo.»»
