ARI Boulogne: this son Delon refuses to recognize

Nico, 1988 traces the last two years of the life of Christa Päffgen (aliasNico), model, singer and musician, icon of the 1960s. In 1962, she gave birth to a son, Ari, whom she had with Alain Delon. Since she was unable to take care of him, he was raised by his paternal grandparents. But his own progenitor refuses to recognize him. In 2001, Ari Boulogne brought Alain Delon to court for the first time. This action occurs concurrently with the release of his autobiography, L'Amour never forgets (Éd. Pauvert), as a need for reconstruction.

Legal fight

The request rejected, it repeated in 2019. But the Orléans court declared itself incompetent to try the case in favour of a Swiss court where Alain Delon resides. However, Ari's lawyer claims that "the French court has jurisdiction in this case" and, at the end of 2020, filed a petition with the registry of the Orléans Court of Appeal with the aim of requesting a date for a future hearing. But the court concludes exactly the same.

Curatorship

The case could be closed unless Michel-Guillaume Fleury made a final attempt. But because of a lack of money, Ari Boulogne could find himself forced once again to give up his efforts. Now 58 years old and placed under curatorship, Ari hardly survives from his profession as a photographer. As a child, he was taken from his biological mother by Edith, his unofficial grandmother, who locked him in a religious boarding house to shield him from a toxic environment. When he was 16, he ran away to join Nico, his mother. Together, they try to make up for lost time.

A lost life

He follows her on her travels from London to Ibiza, sharing her delusions and syringes with her until she accidentally dies after a bicycle fall. He's 26 years old, continuing suicide attempts and detoxification therapy. While in the Delon clan it is argued that these actions are mainly motivated by a desire not to be excluded from the father's inheritance, his lawyer claims that Ari is acting in the interests of his children, blanche (15) and Charles (21) because they "must not be deprived of their filiation".
