How PS, MR and Ecolo shared the presidencies of major cultural associations

A tripartite political agreement redistributed the presidencies and vice-presidencies of major cultural associations, according to the colors of the government. A new politicization is underway, it sometimes makes people cringe.

The initiative seemed so devoid of legal basis that some cultural administrators swear they saw it as a "rumor". However, on the basis of ministerial letters and a government memorandum still confidential to this day, Le Soir is now able to confirm it: on March 4, 2021, shortly before the government of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation designated as as usual its representative-administrators within the various boards of directors (at least where the political power is legally present and represented according to the D'Hondt key), the three parties of the coalition sitting in the government have also negotiated and appointed by authority the presidents (or vice-presidents) who would represent them at the head of the boards of directors of more than twenty leading cultural bodies. It's unprecedented.
