On September 23, 2021, the government announced the selection of 49 new “turnkey industrial sites”. These are added to an initial list of 78 sites already identified and unveiled in 2020. Three sites have been selected in Occitania, including two in the Tarn.

A "turnkey industrial site" is an immediately available site, which can accommodate industrial or logistical activities, and for which the procedures relating to town planning, preventive archeology and the environment have been anticipated in order to to allow the examination of the authorizations necessary for the establishment of a new industrial activity within controlled deadlines.
