Installed today in the Chaprais district of Besançon, Alain Sauter makes in his workshop, terrestrial and celestial globes which are more than simple decorative objects.They are dressed in up -to -date cartography and the spindles are assembled with extreme rigor.

The craftsman uses the materials and techniques necessary for his globes to go through time as best as possible.From the shaping of the staff to the final touch of varnish through the coloring to the watercolor and many other steps.
