Léa amonggiani could have followed the path of watchmaking traced by her father, the master watchmaker Michel amonggiani, but it was fashion that took his heart.

After obtaining her CFC at the Chaux-de-Fonds Applied Arts School in 2016, she left to study at the famous Saint Martins central fashion school in London."I took à la carte lessons there between September 2016 and 2019."In parallel, Léa amonggiani has carried out internships in several fashion houses: Missoni, Franck Sorbier in Paris, Akris in Saint-Gall."I wanted to store as many experiences as possible before creating my own workshop."She also tried the watchmaking adventure, between 2016 and 2018, with her father's, "but that did not quench my need to create".

The young woman, who has just celebrated her 25th birthday, is preparing her federal patent for the creation of clothing within the Swiss Union of Fashion Trades, in World.“We are taught haute couture techniques. This is what interests me: creating tailor -made clothes and accessories. "In her workshop, in Couvet, her models are exhibited, including some coats with clean lines doubled with a silk that she painted by hand.A luxury to bring against you and that one is alone to know.

"Silk painting is my trademark," she said. Its 90 x 90cm squares are beautiful as paintings."I have no canvas, I have silk: it's my white sheet."We feel the painter's gesture behind each line, each curve."When I put the color on the silk, it fuses, it's very voluptuous, it relaxes me."It is rare to be able to afford a work of art to wear for 120 francs.
