LG RH9V71WH test: the first hybrid dryer in our comparison

On the side of drying efficiency, the LG RH9V71WH blows hot and cold.

We have carried out all of our cycles on Eco mode.At the end of the "ready to iron" cycle, this LG dryer leaves 13.5 % humidity in the linen, which is perfect-we consider that it takes an average of 12 % humidity in the linenTo facilitate ironing.

All other programs leave absolutely no humidity at the end of their cycle.

If the drying efficiency is there, the drying times are very long. The LG RH9V71WH puts an average of 38 min per kilogram of laundry, when the average of our comparison is around 25 min/kg.The fastest of our comparison is still the Sharp KD-HHH9S8GW3, which puts an average of 24 min/kg to dry the linen.

More precisely, the LG RH9V71WH requests 21 min/kg for the "Ready to iron" program, 38 min/kg for the "ready to store" and 57 min/kg when the "extra dry" function is activated.

Insofar as this dryer is a hybrid model, we wanted to see the performance of "fast" mode.We therefore applied an equivalent protocol by loading the device with 3 kg of laundry, then 80 % of the capacity on the "ready to store" program. As you would expect, the rapid mode shortens the drying times of the eco mode, since it takes 32 min/kg (loaded with 3 kg) and 20 min/kg at 80 %.Nevertheless, this remains above the average of our comparison.Note that, in both cases, there is no longer an ounce of humidity in the linen.
