Why vegan entrepreneurship?

Vegan entrepreneurship starts from the principle that animals do not belong to us and that we do not have to use them neither as ingredients, nor as clothes, nor as laboratory tests.

In animal breeding for fur, animals go crazy, locked up in tiny wire mesh cages in which they spend their whole life before being slaughtered in a violent manner. The meat and leather industries are responsible for killing several tens of billions of animals each year: cows, pigs, goats and even dogs and cats.Surveys carried out in woolen farms from all continents have revealed the suffering of sheep which are struck and mutilated in sheep.Developing, producing and buying vegan products makes it possible to no longer support these industries that make animals terribly suffer.

Each year, around 10 million animals in Europe are subject to painful and frightening experiences on the part of the experimenters, tests which are indefensible both moral and scientific, and which slow down medical progress.Mice, rats, rabbits, primates, cats, dogs and other animals are locked up in sinister laboratory cages. All these animals have the ability to feel pain and fear, and they suffer intensely when they are poisoned, cut, blinded, electrocuted or infected with deadly diseases for experiences - including makeup.Choosing non -tested products helps avoid horrible suffering from defenseless animals.

For a world freed from sexism and speciesism

On this International Women's Rights Day, let us recall that in our current society based on speciesism, female animals are treated as vulgar reproductive machines and are inseminated with force and repeatedly in the milk, meat and meat industriesEggs, as well as for the production of leather, fur and other animal skins and in the breeding of animals intended to undergo horrible tests in the laboratories.

Thanks to entrepreneurs and companies like those who have won our prize, these archaic treatments are rejected in favor of products that do not use animals and more environmentally friendly. These women brilliantly demonstrate that thanks to their convictions, their knowledge and their courage it is possible to grow societies based on respect for our sisters of all species.Peta is delighted to rob the spotlight on their admirable efforts which will certainly be a source of emulation for all future cheffes of ethical companies.
