This is good news for the Mayenne economy. The luxury leather goods company Les Ateliers FIM, based in Fougères, has just announced its arrival in the department in 2022.

Faced with growing demand, the family group, which already employs nearly 600 people at its three sites in Brittany and its site in Pays de Loire, has decided to open a new manufacturing site in the Laval conurbation.

"This offers a strategic positioning vis-à-vis our other existing sites, proximity to Paris and easy connections for relations with principals, a dynamic employment pool and an attractive territory to welcome new talents", explains the manager.
