Accompanied by a friend from Toulouse, Yannick, the 30-year-old who lives in Paris decided to embark on this new professional adventure almost a year ago.

Influencer

Mathieu Renard already has a certain notoriety, after having worked for several years for television (TF1, F2, M6) he stood out as an influencer on the Instagram social network. We also remember that in this capacity he had been able to experience an incredible adventure, in March 2019, that of being able to fly in weightlessness with the famous astronaut Thomas Pesquet.

Fashion

Both fashion and lifestyle enthusiasts, Mathieu and Yannick quickly clicked, they explain: “Creating a clothing brand that meets our requirements in terms of style, material and origin. Allow to change style regularly without overconsuming. Build a French brand, fun, impertinent”.

An original crest system

“We want to create a timeless men's wardrobe. We will start by offering 5 t-shirts for as many colors and two sweatshirts. All the pieces are fitted with a female hook-and-loop fastener allowing you to affix the crest of your choice. Many projects are already under study, to offer in the near future chinos, sweaters, hoodies, caps, denim shirts, socks and others, enough to get closer to a complete men's wardrobe. "Why this choice of Made in France ? "In order to benefit from French know-how in the field of text, to be part of a logic of local consumption, to be able to reduce the transport of goods, and to relocate French production".

Northern clothing

The supplier of sweatshirts and t-shirts is based in Saint-André-lez-Lille, in the North. Each product is made by hand. Cul & Chemises clothes are eco-responsible and made with organic cotton; they are Gots certified, a label guaranteeing an ecological and socially responsible production method. The badges are made by a family embroidery located in Lesdain, also in the North. They also work with Coline, graphic designer, but also a web designer as well than a photographer.

The particularity

The founders of the brand offer their customers the possibility of personalizing and customizing their clothes through badges to be affixed to the garment. "This makes it easy to change your look and avoid the routine", points out Mathieu Renard. About forty badges are already available, available in four themes: summer, urban, cities of France and animal totem. "You can even keep one or two in your pocket, and change them according to your desire or your mood in the same day". Already in the boxes, a new collection that will honor the regions of France.

Reduced margins

These militant and eco-responsible choices will of course have economic implications, "our margins will be very small" does not hide the Sarthois of origin. "But we are proud to embark on this project and we will have no regrets". family established between Château-du-Loir and Luceau.
