Olivier Coste and Sylvain Jean, two Montpellier friends, launched their clothing brand in May 2020.""""""""Republik of"""""""" famous Montpellier, through visuals typical of the city.The two forties hope to bring the Montpellier together around their sweatshirts and t-shirts.

The duo released its mark on May 11, precisely on the day of the first deconitation.""""""""It was a symbolic date, explains Olivier Coste.This is the moment when life has taken over.At least, that's what we thought at that time.And we wanted to launch a positive message! """"""""

To create their visuals, the two friends asked for the opinion of the Montpelliérains.""""""""We did a survey, in which we asked them what, according to them, represents Montpellier, says Sylvain Jean.Four themes came out of this: the fact that life is good there, with this atmosphere and this sun;student life and fashion;Sport and heritage.""""""""

Create a community

Olivier Coste and Sylvain Jean are not native of Montpellier.They got there for their studies, twenty years ago, and never wanted to leave. The idea of creating this clothing brand was born during a trip to Ireland. Their clothes are made in Bangladesh, in socially and biologically certified factories.The two friends will launch their new collection early next week.Their new visuals stage four Montpellier icons in the streets of the city and refer to important events experienced by the Montpellier in the last thirty years.Ultimately, the two Montpelliérains wish to highlight other cities in France.
